Brighton Beach

Brighton beach, situated in the Northern Sussex County, is one of the most favorite attractions in the UK both for a weekend stay and a longer break. Brighton Beach has been a popular destination since Victorian Era. In spite of its lack of sand, the beach retains its popularity even now.

Brighton’s seafront is a tourist attraction in itself. It is full of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and amusement arcades, and also features some of hotels. To the east of the beach, there is a modern sports complex offering facilities for almost anything, including beach volleyball. To the west of the seafront is the Monarch’s Way, an ancient 615-mile footpath. The path is based on the escape route taken by King Charles II during his escape after defeat by Cromwell in the final battle of the Civil Wars at Worcester in 1651.

The Brighton Pier is another important landmark. The pier has a famous funfair that opens at midday and is renowned for its thrilling rides like the Wild River Flume, the Crazy Mouse, and the truly white-knuckle Super Booster. The fair also provides other attractions, and there are rides for children of all ages.
